Visa Solutions Dedicated to Providing Clean Water to Malawi’s Population
Matching hard-working people from all over the world with some of the best US companies that can’t find qualified local talent is only a part of what we do. Visa Solutions was founded by immigrants who strived to change lives and make a contribution to our country — helping others achieve their American Dream as they once did. It has been our passion ever since.
As we succeed, we feel that we have a responsibility also to give back and help improve the lives of those who are less fortunate. That is how we came across Child Legacy International (CLI). Since 1987, CLI has actively helped people from Africa build self-sustainable communities and free themselves from poverty. Trough world-class healthcare, education, agricultural development and clean water, people can have ownership in developing and fortifying their communities.
Clean Water Climb (CWC) through CLI, has been repairing water wells in Malawi since 2008, saving entire villages from one of the world’s leading causes of death, waterborne disease. However, there is still a great need. According to CLI, over 2.4 million people living in Malawi have no access to safe water. Many of these people live in remote villages where the infrastructure needed to provide clean water does not yet exist. The consequences of this situation are dire; because of these conditions, a child dies every 15 seconds from disease attributable to unsafe drinking water, deplorable sanitation, and poor hygiene.
To support this life-saving work, we have been honored to make a donation to CLI. Our Co-Founder Ana Briones participated in CLI’s Malawi Mission in July 2019. Ms. Briones traveled to Malawi helping repair clean water wells and meeting locals along the way. Together, Ms. Briones and others participating in the mission raised funds to repair four water pumps and restore clean water access to over 8,000 people.
“Visa Solutions was established with the vision of improving the quality of life for as many people as possible. Thanks to Child Legacy International and Clean Water Climb, we have been given the opportunity to make even the smallest difference by providing clean water to the people of Malawi.”
